The Katech Installation Process

Vehicle Inspection

Each vehicle is inspected before installation begins to identify any concerns that should be addressed before modification.

Baseline Dyno Testing

Baseline chassis dyno testing is performed before modifications to document incoming vehicle performance and establish a reference point for the completed package.

Professional Installation

All included components are installed by Katech technicians using established installation, machining, and assembly procedures. Cylinder head preparation, camshaft and valvetrain installation, VVT and AFM delete components, induction upgrades, and required supporting components are completed as part of the package.

ECU Calibration

The C8 ECU unlock process and required HP Tuners credits are included. The vehicle receives custom calibration appropriate for the complete Stage 2 performance combination.

Dyno Calibration and Validation

Following installation, the vehicle receives chassis dyno calibration and horsepower validation to verify the operation and performance of the completed package.

Street Drivability Calibration

After dyno calibration, the vehicle is road tested and calibrated to verify throttle response, part-throttle operation, idle quality, and overall street drivability before delivery.
