Katech Engineering LLC - Cylinder Heads, Components & CNC Machining Services

Cylinder Heads, Components & CNC Machining Services
This category includes complete cylinder heads, individual components, and CNC machining services for high-performance engine applications. Cylinder heads control airflow into and out of the combustion chamber, directly influencing volumetric efficiency, combustion stability, and overall engine performance.
Katech cylinder heads and components are developed through decades of professional motorsports engine programs and in-house engineering. Port geometry, valve placement, chamber design, and surface finish are established through computational development, flow testing, and dyno validation to maintain consistent airflow characteristics and combustion efficiency across the operating range.
Component offerings include valves, valve springs, retainers, guides, seals, and related hardware required to support valvetrain stability and durability. CNC porting and machining services are performed using controlled processes to maintain dimensional accuracy, repeatability, and compatibility with the intended engine configuration.
All cylinder head components and services are machined, assembled, and validated in-house at Katech’s Clinton Township, Michigan facility. Machining, assembly, and validation are performed within the same environment used for professional racing programs, supporting airflow performance, structural integrity, and long-term durability under elevated cylinder pressure and engine speed.
These products and services support a wide range of high-performance engine platforms, including GM LS and LT engines as well as other performance and race-specific architectures where cylinder head performance is critical to achieving consistent power, efficiency, and reliability.
