The Katech C7 Corvette & Grand Sport Stage 3 625HP Installed Performance Package is a professionally engineered heads, camshaft, and induction package designed to deliver 625 horsepower from the naturally aspirated LT1 while maintaining refined street drivability. This comprehensive package combines Katech CNC-ported cylinder heads, a Katech Torquer LT1 camshaft, an upgraded valvetrain, MSD Gen V LT1 intake manifold, Katech billet 103mm throttle body, Halltech STR Stinger intake, ATI damper, supporting engine components, custom ECU calibration, chassis dyno calibration, and final road validation.

The Katech Installation Process
Vehicle Inspection
Each vehicle is inspected before installation begins to identify any concerns that should be addressed before modification.
Baseline Dyno Testing
Baseline chassis dyno testing is performed before modifications to document incoming vehicle performance and establish a reference point for the completed package.
Professional Installation
All included components are installed by Katech technicians using established installation, machining, and assembly procedures. Cylinder head preparation, camshaft and valvetrain installation, VVT and AFM delete components, timing system upgrades, ATI damper installation, induction upgrades, and required supporting components are completed as part of the package.
Cylinder Head Preparation
The LT1 cylinder heads receive Katech CNC porting, a 5-angle competition valve job, valve job blending, and precision deck machining. These modifications are designed to improve cylinder head airflow and support the increased performance demands of the Stage 3 combination.
Camshaft and Valvetrain Installation
The Katech Torquer LT1 camshaft is installed with PSI 1516 valve springs, Katech spring retainers and locators, Katech-spec Johnson lifters, and Trend pushrods measured for proper fitment. Supporting timing components and VVT and AFM delete hardware are installed to complete the camshaft conversion.
ECU Calibration
The package includes the required HP Tuners credits and custom ECU calibration appropriate for the Stage 3 625HP performance combination. Calibration is developed to support the upgraded camshaft, cylinder heads, valvetrain, induction components, and overall engine operation.
Dyno Calibration and Validation
Following installation, the vehicle receives chassis dyno calibration and performance validation to verify the operation of the completed package and evaluate performance gains compared to the baseline results.
Street Drivability Calibration
After dyno calibration, the vehicle is road tested and calibrated to verify throttle response, part-throttle operation, idle quality, and overall street drivability before delivery.
