For use with a compatible single-mass flywheel and clutch conversion. This spacer does not replace the flywheel or clutch and is not a standalone dual-mass flywheel delete.
Clutch Compatibility
The spacer is designed around compatible GM clutch installations. An aftermarket clutch may require different slave cylinder positioning, so the listed thickness must be checked against the actual flywheel, clutch, and release bearing arrangement.
Do not assume compatibility based solely on vehicle fitment. Verify the complete clutch assembly and required release bearing clearance before installation.
Important Installation Notes
- Confirm Compatibility with the Selected Single-Mass Flywheel and Clutch
- Verify Slave Cylinder and Release Bearing Clearance Before Final Assembly
- Confirm Required Mounting Hardware and Fastener Engagement
- Follow the Applicable Clutch and Slave Cylinder Installation Instructions
- Bleed the Clutch Hydraulic System as Required
- Verify Proper Clutch Engagement and Disengagement After Installation
Why Choose Katech
Changing from a dual-mass to a single-mass flywheel can alter the clutch assembly's installed dimensions. The Katech 2004–2007 Cadillac CTS-V Single-Mass Flywheel Slave Cylinder Spacer provides a defined 0.992-inch spacing option for the compatible GM clutch conversion arrangement.
