Katech Spark Plug Wire Insulator

The Katech Spark Plug Wire Insulator provides an added layer of thermal protection for spark plug boots and wires exposed to elevated exhaust temperatures. It is especially beneficial for high-performance vehicles equipped with long-tube headers, turbocharger systems, or other exhaust configurations that position spark plug wires near high-heat components.

Constructed from flexible knitted E-glass fiberglass, the insulator slides over the spark plug boot and wire while conforming around irregular surfaces. By helping shield the spark plug wire and boot from radiant and conductive heat, it helps reduce the risk of melted wires, heat-related ignition misfires, and inconsistent engine performance.
