The Katech Gen V LT1 .670 Lift Beehive Valve Spring Kit with Tool Steel Retainers combines PSI-1516ML valve springs, Katech H13 tool steel retainers, steel spring locators, and Viton valve seals. It is designed as a drop-in package for compatible GM Gen V LT1 cylinder heads.

The springs feature PSI's Max Life treatment. The hardened H13 retainers provide increased spring-contact wear resistance compared with titanium retainers in evaluated Katech packages. All kit components are made in the USA.

For compatible GM Gen V LT1 cylinder heads only. Confirm valve dimensions, guide configuration, and spring installed height before ordering, particularly with modified or aftermarket heads.

Exclusion: This kit does not fit LT4 cylinder heads.

Retainer Material Selection

Katech recommends the appropriate tool steel retainers for street, road racing, and endurance applications. Titanium remains Katech's recommendation for drag racing.
