Description
Katech Gen 6 Camaro / CTS-V3 High-Performance Low-Side Dual Fuel Pump Kit with Harness & Controller
High-Output Low-Side Fuel Delivery with a Sealed Dual-Pump Module and Dedicated Secondary Pump Control
The Katech Gen 6 Camaro / CTS-V3 High-Performance Low-Side Dual Fuel Pump Kit with Harness & Controller increases low-side fuel delivery for compatible Chevrolet Camaro and Cadillac CTS-V3 applications. The kit combines a sealed in-tank module containing two OEM-grade high-output fuel pumps with an application-specific integration harness and VaporWorx controller.
The module retains the factory returnless fuel system arrangement, fuel level sender functionality, EVAP functionality, and tank connections. Its integrated venturi system is designed to retain OEM-style low-fuel-level performance while supporting increased fuel demand in street and track applications.
The primary pump remains controlled by the factory Fuel Pump Control Module (FPCM). The supplied harness and controller operate the secondary pump. Installation includes terminal crimping and, on some harness versions, transferring factory connector terminals. No cutting or drilling of the vehicle body is required, and no drilled or bonded fuel fittings are required in the tank.
Required Supporting Component: An E85-rated, 5–10 micron post-pump fuel filter with stainless steel or microfiberglass media is required and sold separately.

Measured Fuel Flow
Katech's in-module bench test report dated July 25, 2023 records the following results for the dual-pump configuration at 13.5V, using test fluid with a specific gravity of 0.75:
| Pressure | Measured Flow | Current Draw |
|---|---|---|
| 30 PSI | 743 L/hr | 35.4 A |
| 40 PSI | 699 L/hr | 36.9 A |
| 50 PSI | 648 L/hr | 38.4 A |
| 60 PSI | 623 L/hr | 39.6 A |
| 70 PSI | 534 L/hr | 41.5 A |
| 80 PSI | 402 L/hr | 42.2 A |
The report confirms venturi operation and records slight cavitation at pressures above 60 PSI, with the pressure relief valve opening at 85 PSI in the tested configuration. These are bench test observations, not a universal operating pressure recommendation. Contact Katech Technical Sales to discuss the appropriate setup for your application.
Performance Capability
The dual-pump configuration has supported 1,000 RWHP on E85 in vehicle testing with a factory returnless fuel system. This result applies to the tested supporting combination and is not a guaranteed horsepower rating for every installation.
Available fuel delivery depends on operating pressure, voltage at the pumps, fuel composition, filtration, injectors, and the complete fuel system. High-pressure fuel pump and injector capacity must also be matched to the engine's requirements.
What's Included
- Katech Gen 6 Camaro / CTS-V3 High-Performance Low-Side Dual Fuel Pump Module
- Katech Gen 6 Camaro / CTS-V3 High-Performance Dual Fuel Pump Controller & Integration Harness
Required Supporting Filtration: A compatible post-pump fuel filter is required and sold separately. Contact Katech Technical Sales for filter selection.
Vehicle Fitment
Chevrolet:
- 2016–2024 Camaro SS: LT1 Engine; Verify Tank Configuration and Required Internal Components
- 2020–2024 Camaro LT1: 6.2L LT1 Engine; Verify Tank Configuration and Required Internal Components
- 2017–2024 Camaro ZL1: LT4 Engine; Module Designed Around ZL1-Style Tank Internals
Camaros equipped with compatible ZL1-style tank internals accept the module directly. Vehicles with the alternate factory arrangement require conversion to the appropriate ZL1-style in-tank jet pump and lines. Verify the tank configuration before ordering.
Cadillac:
- 2016–2019 CTS-V: Third-Generation CTS-V with LT4 Engine; Confirm Vehicle-Specific Installation Requirements
Contact Katech Technical Sales at 586-791-4120 to confirm vehicle compatibility, required tank components, and supporting filtration.
Important Installation Notes
