A Complete Valve Cover and Ignition Coil Relocation Solution for Dry Sump GM LS Engines

Transform the appearance of your GM LS engine with the Katech Gen III & IV Dry Sump LS Valve Cover & Coil Relocation Package. This complete package combines Katech cast aluminum dry sump valve covers, a purpose-built ignition coil relocation system, and extended 10MM spark plug wires for a clean, professional installation.

The raised cast aluminum valve covers provide additional clearance for many aftermarket valvetrain components, including larger valve springs and rocker arms. Each cover features a Katech engraved logo insert for a distinctive finished appearance.

The included coil relocation system positions compatible ignition coils along the intake manifold side of the valve covers. This keeps the Katech valve covers fully visible while creating a cleaner, more organized engine compartment. The mounting system also maintains access to the valve cover fasteners, allowing the complete valve cover and coil assembly to be removed without first removing the ignition coils.

• Ignition coils are not included.
• This dry sump valve cover configuration does not include an oil fill cap.
• The raised valve cover design provides additional valvetrain clearance, but clearance must be verified with the specific rocker arms, valve springs, and related components being used.
• Compatible with Magnuson Heartbeat supercharger applications when used with the appropriate engine and ignition coil configuration.
• Verify ignition coil compatibility, valve cover clearance, spark plug wire routing, intake manifold clearance, and surrounding component clearance before installation.
• Custom engine builds and dry sump conversions may require additional clearance and component compatibility verification.
• Professional installation is recommended.

Care & Maintenance

Clean the black anodized coil relocation components using only mild soap and water. Do not use Windex®, Simple Green®, or similar chemical cleaners. Harsh cleaning products may discolor or damage the anodized finish.

Are the ignition coils included?
No. The package includes the valve covers, coil relocation mounting system, required mounting hardware, and extended spark plug wires. Compatible ignition coils must be supplied separately.

Can the valve covers be removed without removing the ignition coils?
Yes. The Katech mounting system maintains access to the valve cover fasteners and is designed so the complete valve cover and coil assembly can be removed without first removing the ignition coils.

Will these valve covers clear aftermarket valvetrain components?
The raised design provides additional clearance for many larger valve springs and aftermarket rocker arm combinations. Clearance must still be verified for the specific components used in your engine.

What valve cover colors are available?
Outlaw Black and Redline Red are currently available. Competition Blue is coming soon.

What spark plug wire colors are available?
The included Katech Coil Relocation 10MM Spark Plug Wire Set is available in red or black.

Why is an oil fill cap not included?
These valve covers are configured for dry sump LS engines, where engine oil is typically added through the external dry sump oil tank.

Can these valve covers be used on a wet sump engine?
These valve covers are intended for dry sump applications and do not include an oil fill cap. For conventional wet sump installations, use the Katech Gen III & IV Wet Sump LS Valve Cover & Coil Relocation Package.

Are additional spark plug wire heat sleeves included?
No. Additional heat protection is recommended when the spark plug wires are routed close to headers or other high-temperature components.
