The Katech C8 Corvette LT2 MAX Extreme Heat Spark Plug Wire Set is designed for demanding motorsports and high-performance applications where elevated exhaust temperatures can threaten ignition reliability. Built on the same race-proven foundation as the Katech C8 Corvette LT2 MAX Premium Spark Plug Wire Set, the Extreme Heat version adds an outer thermal protection layer to help shield the wires from intense radiant heat generated by aftermarket headers, turbocharger exhaust manifolds, and other high-temperature exhaust systems.
Each wire uses the same motorsports-quality boots, heat sleeve, tape, and heat shrink utilized on Katech racing engines. The additional outer layer provides another level of protection against radiant exhaust heat, while the 90-degree boots at both the ignition coil and spark plug ends provide additional clearance compared to the factory spark plug wires.
Developed for high-heat street and competition environments, the Katech C8 Corvette LT2 MAX Extreme Heat Spark Plug Wire Set combines race-proven components with added thermal protection for applications that place greater demands on the ignition system.
