Katech Engineering offers precision CNC porting for GM Gen 5 LT4 cylinder heads, using Katech-developed port programs designed to improve airflow consistency and overall performance potential. Each intake and exhaust port is CNC-machined to deliver repeatable, balanced results across all cylinders while maintaining proper port geometry and compatibility with OEM-based architecture.

This CNC porting service is ideal for high-performance street, track, and competition LT4 engine builds where improved airflow efficiency, durability, and support for increased power levels are required. CNC porting provides a strong foundation for camshaft upgrades, increased boost, and complete performance engine builds without compromising reliability.

Cylinder Head Preparation & Shipping Instructions

To have your LT4 cylinder heads CNC ported by Katech Engineering, please follow these steps:

1. Remove the cylinder heads from the vehicle

2. Disassemble the cylinder heads to a completely bare condition

3. Thoroughly wash and clean the cylinder heads

4. Print a copy of your order confirmation, place it in the box, and ship the heads to:

IMPORTANT: Failure to include a copy of your order confirmation inside the package will delay or prevent processing.

Packaging Requirements

Proper packaging is critical to prevent damage during shipping:

• Use generous bubble wrap, especially on all corners

• A double-box method (wrapped heads boxed inside a second box) is strongly recommended

• Do not use packing peanuts, as they do not provide adequate protection
