Katech Gen V LT4 Track Day Camshaft
Maximum-Effort Camshaft for Gen V LT Builds with Magnuson TVS2650, ProCharger F-1A-94, or Larger Superchargers.
The Katech Gen V LT4 Track Day Camshaft is designed for maximum-effort LT4 and LT5 engine combinations equipped with a Magnuson TVS2650 or larger supercharger. It also suits larger-displacement combinations, including 416ci and 427ci builds. Applications include appropriately configured LT1 and LT4 engines using a Magnuson TVS2650, ProCharger F-1A-94, or larger supercharger.
The profile features 233°/250° intake and exhaust duration at .050", .649"/.658" valve lift with a 1.80:1 rocker ratio, a 119° lobe separation angle, and +4° specified camshaft advance. The fuel pump lobe is specified at 32% with 7.54mm lift.
The Katech Gen V LT4 Track Day Camshaft is Katech's go-to camshaft for suitable builds approaching and exceeding 1,000 RWHP. This describes its intended application; actual output depends on the complete engine, supercharger, fuel system, and calibration.
The Katech Gen V LT4 Track Day Camshaft can work with the stock torque converter, but it is at the limit of what Katech considers acceptable. Full VVT lockout or delete is recommended.
